Rafiki, which means 'friend' in Swahili provides unusual and delicious ethnic African food for all ages and diets.

Rafiki is 100% social business that offers:

Food as a service of Friendship
Rafikis food is a path to building friendships with other parts of the world. When you shop at Rafiki you are providing support for children and families in Africa to be able to afford a meal. This is a service that only a friend can provide.

Food as a gift of Opportunity
Rafiki offers job opportunities for women who have relocated to our local Lancaster community from different countries. We give them an opportunity to make their own cultural foods. They are experts. This makes our food authentic and gives them a chance to earn competitive wages, rebuild their lives and establish a new home in the Lancaster community.

Food as a means for Charity
All our profits support charity, locally and in Africa. Rafiki Africa Foundation is the main beneficiary. Rafiki Africa Foundation works in Western Kenya to provide sustainable development and end physical and spiritual poverty. Read more about Rafiki Africa's work at www.rafikiafrica.org

Food as a time saver
Rafiki provides you with healthy, tasty, balanced meals. Our catering services give you time to focus on other important details for your event.
